FAQs
What is your “Zero-Mess” Guarantee?
1
When working on a carpeted area, Wright places an elegant low-pile absorbent mat under her custom-made easel. (Dyes on hard surfaces wipe up easily without a trace, so no mat is used in uncarpeted areas.) She uses very small amounts of open dye, placing the open containers right next to the art that is being painted. Wright comes prepared with a small clean-up bucket, paper towels and appropriate soap, which is all stored out of sight under the table, keeping the art area clean and tidy during your event.
Is there a contract?
2
After your initial consultation, you will be asked to sign a Basic Services Agreement. The Agreement outlines everything both parties can expect from one another as well as the payment terms.
What are your payment terms?
3
Your initial consultation is free after which a Basic Services Agreement will be customized for your event. When the Agreement is signed, a 20% non-refundable retainer secures your event date. Generally, the total balance of your agreement is due two weeks prior to your event. Additional payment terms can be discussed for larger events and/or those requiring travel. If your event is within 30 days of your initial consultation, a rush fee will be added and your entire balance will be due upon signing the agreement.
Will I know what my art is going to be before it is painted at the event?
4
Not exactly, but that is part of the excitement of the experience. Peruse Wright’s portfolio website to see the flavor of her work. If you like what you see there, you will love your event painting! Extensive commission experience and Wright’s consultation process ensures you will be delighted by your image.
What does my venue have to provide?
5
Wright’s service is designed to be a total solution requiring nothing but a minimum 6’x6’ space for her set up. However, the client may choose to cover Wright’s wood table with the event linens, in which case the client will provide the linens and Wright will use her Zero-Mess Guarantee.
